    Several subscribers to this list, including me, have read Teresa
Ebert with great admiration. Hers is the best critique of pomo
in general and what *really is* 'petty bourgeois' feminism that I
know of. I have also read with much profit the first issues of
*Transformation* and *Red Orange*. But the attack on Wood and
MR in the manifesto from Buffalo does not bode well. *Against
the Current* (on whose advisory board Wood serves) published a
fine essay by Ebert. I hope that the Syracuse University 'tendency'
does not box itself into a sectarian trap.
