probably because the net-left has little patience for the type of personal
vitriol loaded into so much of the rhetoric which itself is so hard to hack
through. of course left is not going backward, is about building the future.
and the left has always had to deal with fadists. the hoolah-hoop socialists.
the trendy academics. the language magicians. it is only worth engaging that
which is helpful in changing the world, not that which is primarily concerned
with its N E W -ness.

by the way, have any of you three or four actually DONE anything, anwhere,
anytime, anyway ? generally, those who can, do. those who can't, teach. and
those who can't teach, write alot of useless stuff to fill the void.
