You see, you're drawing inferences that I've never said. In my books, "HIGH TREASON" and "HIGH TREASON II", in each one of them, I have chapters on the Watergate connections, and I'm very careful about what I say. GARY NULL: Frank Sturgis is a person who was involved with Watergate. Correct? HARRISON LIVINSTONE: Yeah. He, of course, helped the CIA put Fidel Castro in power. He worked for Fidel Castro for a period of time. GARY NULL: Sturgis was around at the Bay of Pigs [Invasion]. Correct? HARRISON LIVINGSTONE: Absolutely. GARY NULL: Frank Sturgis worked for the CIA. Correct? HARRISON LIVINGSTONE: He was a CIA agent. GARY NULL: And he was also at [the] Watergate [Break-in]. Correct? HARRISON LIVINGSTONE: Absolutely. He was involved with that whole mess. GARY NULL: Now, is that part of the inference that here were a group of people, who have been involved with the Cuban-American anti-Castro element, who now suddenly show up in the Watergate Break-in of the Democratic Party's National headquarters -- Larry O'Brien's office? Is that what the inference is: that there had to have been something that they felt would have been damaging to President Nixon, had O'Brien had it and could have used it in a political campaign or in some other way that would have caused Nixon and his supporters to lose the election or to have embarrassed them in some way? Is that the inference? HARRISON LIVINGSTONE: Yeah. I'll stick my neck out on that and I'll give the following explanations. First of all, you have to ask yourself: doesn't it seem pretty preposterous that a president would condone or know of or be involved with a bunch of burglars who are raiding the offices of the opposing party? Think what would happen if they got caught? Of course, they might have had the hubris to believe, or the arrogance to believe that: "If they got caught, so what; we can get them out of it." I don't think so. I think that this President got set up. Nixon was another victim. Of course, it couldn't happen to a nicer guy. But he became like a ping-pong ball being bounced back and forth between opposing forces, all trying to gain control. You have one group that was trying to entrap the other group in the burglary, and another group that set the burglary in motion -- and still another group that had a rationale for trying to get information, to find out what Larry O'Brien knew about the murder of John Kennedy. According to Jim Hougan[sp] and others, the [assassination] thing is far deeper and more intricate than anybody ever imagined. My personal information -- and this comes, really, from the grapevine in the Washington area -- is that, of course, Larry O'Brien and others had very clear information about what happened to John Kennedy. So does the Kennedy Family! But they cannot publicly say it. And some of the people in this lower cell who worked for President Nixon .... You have to go back to the 1950s, when he was vice-president under President Eisenhower, and this same group of people under [conservative editor William F. Buckley's alleged CIA trainer] E. Howard Hunt ran an operation on [shipping magnate Aristotle] Onassis because of Onassis's deal with Saudi Arabia to ship oil in Onassis's ships. This upset American policy at the time. So they ran an operation to denigrate Onassis -- trying to convict him of Internal Revenue [tax] violations and everything else. He was sued and prosecuted. Of course, he got out of all of it. And, ultimately, I think that's why Jacqueline Kennedy went to Onassis and married him: because it was a safe house. He was the ONE person who defeated the same group who murdered her husband. Give that some thought. GARY NULL: Okay. One last question for you. What evidence do you have that bullets were removed from the President's body at Bethesda Naval Hospital BEFORE the autopsy began? HARRISON LIVINGSTONE: Alright. In HIGH TREASON II, I make a proposal. And I am not stating as fact, as David Lifton and other people have stated, that there has been a misrepresentation of a lot of the evidence in this case. I am proposing that, during this period when there was more than one team -- apparently, according to the testimony that we know about -- taking sets of X-rays .... Obviously, the room was cleared during [the taking of] this set of X-rays. And, according to an FBI man who is in the legislature in Connecticut now -- he told me that they were developing the X-rays right there in the X-ray room. I must say that that runs counter to the evidence in the case, that the X-rays were taken upstairs to be developed. But if, in fact, they were set up to develop at least one set of X-rays, and if there was a bullet in the neck, as we suspect, then a very quick operation would have been performed there; unless ... you know, Dr. Perry was digging around in the throat [at Parkland Hospital] in Dallas for quite some time. He had to have an exploratory operation before the tracheotomy tube was stuck in the neck. And it's conceivable that somebody removed a bullet at Parkland Hospital before the President was actually dead, and that it was palmed or pocketed; or [that this was done] directly afterwards. In some of the testimony, Dr. Baxter says that as soon as the President died, everybody was asked, by the Secret Service, to leave the room. And he meant "everybody". It's possible that an operation was performed then.
