How would that experiment have been presented? Could the U.S. Government then have refused to do it again? Could the Government have prevented the defense from doing the experiment? So you see -- the WHOLE thing is absurd. There is no question at all -- absolutely no question that the Warren Commission Report is FALLACIOUS! It's WORSE than fallacious. It's spurious. It's worse than that. It is a KNOWING, KNOWING, witting, deliberate attempt to confuse, to lie to the American People, to obfuscate the issues, and to keep the American People from knowing that President John F. Kennedy had been killed as a result of a conspiracy, and not by one sole person, Lee Harvey Oswald, acting by himself. I do know that it is an important matter. It involved the Presidency. It involved one or more Government agencies (of that we can be sure) in the United States. Not Cuba. Not China. Not Russia. It involved some other sinister forces in the United States. I don't mean all, necessarily, in the original planning and plotting. I think there was a very small number of people who knew everything. But a lot of people came to know of it later, and they participated in the cover-up. President Lyndon Johnson, FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover, and so on. Obviously, those people were not without their sources of information. So, we've got a LOT here that has to be uncovered and presented. I hope that I'll have a chance to chat with you again. Nice talking to you. Goodbye. GARY NULL: Okay. Let's go back now to our main thesis. David Lifton, you've been sitting by patiently. Thank you. David, let's take a look at some more of the falsified information and the discrepancies. I'd like for you to talk about the recollections of James Curtis Jenkins, the "clandestine intermission" hypothesis, and the assertion of Admiral David Osborn. Let's take those three in that order. DAVID LIFTON: You know, it's funny. I've written a book so many years ago. I go back to my own book to find out exactly what I published, based on the interviewing I did at the time, which was carefully recorded and analyzed. Basically, may I start by saying that of all the men in the autopsy room, the one whom I felt the most empathy with was James Curtis Jenkins. And I want to tell you why. When I interviewed Paul O'Connor at his home in Florida, by telephone and later in person, I knew I was speaking to a man who was providing me with terribly important information, who didn't realize the significance of it because O'Connor simply knew what he saw, and told it to me. And I always considered him as the John Wayne of my little documentary film that I made. But he really didn't understand the significance of the cranium being empty. He just said that the bullet had blown out the President's brain. And that was just as well because if he had had any inkling of this significance, I think that he would have been even more frightened. And he was generally a little scared. But JENKINS was in a position of someone who knew that something was wrong that night. The reason that he knew that something was wrong was that he was undergoing a course of study. He, at that time, had a professional goal of becoming a doctor, I believe. And he understood that the large hole in the back of the President's head MEANT that a bullet had exited from there. Therefore, he had cognitive dissidence. And I stress that he had cognitive dissidence of the highest order that weekend when he was reading in the newspaper that the shot supposedly came from behind, from the Texas School Book Depository building. Yet HE, himself, knew that this couldn't be true! He, based on his own studies and his own knowledge, understood, very much so, that whatever happened to the head, the bullet had exited to the rear. So, therefore, when the next week he and others were called into an admiral's office and he was forced to sign .... you know, requested that he must sign a document that said that he could not talk about what he had seen or heard that night, HE didn't think that this was simply for proprietary purposes, that one should not talk about the autopsy of the dead President. But he felt from the beginning ... he had this angst in himself that there was a cover-up. I can identify with that feeling because I, as a researcher, in my pursuit of the autopsy data .... I was pursuing the truth about this matter. And here was a fellow soulmate, so to speak. So I always had this feeling about Jenkins and I tried to describe it in my book, how Jenkins felt that the bullet came from the front because of the hole in the back of the President's head. And he also was privy to and picked up on the vibrations in the room: the tension between the autopsy doctors and the men in the civilian suits who were .... There was a certain animosity -- that they [the doctors] had a sense ... you know, they were telling the doctors what to do. And there was angriness. He called it "animosities" in the room, because the doctors were saying one thing, and the body, apparently .... I mean, they [the men] wanted to hear something else. So that's basically the James Curtis Jenkins evidence, as I wrote it up: that he believed that the bullet exited from the rear of the head, and that he had this sense of cognitive dissidence that weekend. GARY NULL: What about the assertion of Admiral David Osborn? DAVID LIFTON: Osborn is another matter. Now this is very interesting. Here we have a HIGHLY credible witness, Admiral Osborn. I believe he was chief of surgery at Bethesda Naval Hospital. And he said that there was a whole bullet in the room that night: a COMPLETE bullet, just like the one found on the stretcher, and he HELD IT IN HIS HANDS! Now, whether it rolled out from a wrapping or .... you know, these are all details. But the bullet was THERE! A bullet was there! Now what IS this bullet?! (to be continued) * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * If I can arm you with the vital truth which you need to see that it was the corporate/banking/military/industrial empire who slew the last People's president because that president was trying to thwart their CIA-concocted Vietnam War plans -- a war party designed to engorge their bellies with (get this) one quarter of a trillion dollars in war profits and a vast Southeast Asian addition to their World empire of precious natural resources .... If I can arm you with this truth, then my efforts will have been partially successful. As I see it, the best way that you and I can successfully reap harvest from the seeds of realization that are being planted here is for each of us to join together to combine our individual strengths into one huge arm powerful enough to wield the awesome sword of the law, forged in Constitutionality, against the totalitarian forces who are subverting our Government and gradually herding us all into subjugation.
